1931 born in Melbourne
1950 RMIT/Art and Design, Melbourne
1949–1954 studied at the National Gallery Art School, Melbourne
1954 first group show as ‘Group Four’ at Victorian Artists’ Society, Melbourne (Lawrence Daws, Don Laycock, Clifton Pugh)
1955 worked in co-operation with John Perceval at the A M Boyd Pottery, Melbourne
1956 lecture tour with CAE
1962-1967 travelled and worked in Europe and Israel
art teacher in Melbourne (Caulfield and and Prahran Colleges)
1972 Visual Arts Board Grant
1973 Visual Arts Board Grant
1980-1990 co-owner of Acland Street Art Gallery, Melbourne
1990-1997 moved to Flagship Studio, Williamstown, Melbourne
